# Galactus DB Station

[Wiki](../README.md)

Galactus DB Station is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It runs Galactus DB on
your computer, connects to your other Galactus instances, and gives you one window to query
them, look after them and hand them to an AI agent. It is free, with no account, sign-in or
licence key.

Download it from the [Station page](https://galactusdb.com/product/station).

## The window

The top bar switches between three views: **Server** for the instance's status and
upkeep, **Explore** for queries, and **MCP** for agents. The status strip beside them shows
the server's state, its Bolt address and the MCP server's state; click a cell to go to it.

The icon rail on the left picks what the sidebar shows: **Servers**, **Snippets** or
**History**. Click the lit icon to hide the sidebar, and any icon to bring it back.
**Settings** sits at the foot of the rail.

The right-hand panel shows the database you are connected to: its labels, relationship
types, property keys, indexes and constraints, with **Visualise schema** and **Browse data**
at the top. When you select a node or relationship in a graph, the panel shows its
properties.

The log drawer along the bottom keeps everything the server, the MCP server and Station
itself report. Things you do also answer in the bottom-right corner: a short message
confirms a save or a copy, warns, or says what went wrong. After a small delete, it offers
**Undo**.
