Monitoring

Set GDB_METRICS_BIND to a host:port and the server answers GET /metrics there in the Prometheus text format, and GET /health with ok. The endpoint is off by default and has no authentication, so bind it to an interface only your monitoring can reach.

A scrape never waits for a write: a database that is write-locked at that moment is left out of the two per-database gauges for that scrape. Log, cache and checkpoint figures are not exported yet.
